Definition of Feng Shui
Feng Shui is a system of laws that govern spatial arrangement and orientation in relation to the flow of energy (qi). The favorable and unfavorable effects are taken into account in designing the orientation of buildings.
Students will learn two types of Feng Shui:
The first one is called “Eight Mansions” which is the easiest one. It is a straightforward and simple method using a unit divided into eight equal directions. The directions are divided evenly between good and bad positions. This type of Feng Shui is ideal for beginner students to learn. Students can use this to evaluate their own homes to determine if they have good Feng Shui in their homes.
The second one is called “Flying Star”. It is an advanced level requiring more thinking and a basic understanding of the concept of “I Ching”. Flying star changes every year.
Both types of Feng Shui are the most popular nowadays.
In the Feng Shui and Bazi class, students will learn all the basic foundation of “I Ching” which is the main source for the following:
• Chinese Metaphysics
• Feng Shui
• Bazi
• Date Selection
• Facing Reading
• Palm Reading
• Qi Men Dun Jia
Bazi is a Chinese astrological system which uses an individual’s date and hour of birth to determine an individual's fortune. The date and hour of birth are plotted on a chart to determine the individual’s fortune. It will look at the three most important issues in an individual’s life:
• Career
• Health
• Marriage.
Students will learn how to use the five elements and the Feng Shui principles of furniture placement to improve their fortune and life. Good luck to all of you.
